Terms of Service
Last updated: August 28, 2025
Welcome to North Country Market. By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to these Terms.
We’re North Country Market (“we”, “us”). We may update these Terms at any time by posting a new date above. Your continued use means you accept the changes.
We work with natural products; weights may vary slightly from the stated weight. Photos are illustrative. We may limit quantities or discontinue products at any time.
Prices are shown in CAD unless noted. Applicable taxes are added at checkout. If we discover a pricing/description error, we may cancel or correct the order and will contact you.
Your order is an offer; we accept when we charge your payment and confirm shipment. We may refuse/cancel any order (e.g., suspected fraud, availability, address issues) and will refund promptly if already charged.
Shipping is not calculated at checkout. You’ll see “Shipping to be quoted (we’ll invoice separately)” at checkout.
We email you a shipping quote after you order.
Orders ship only after you approve & pay the shipping invoice.
If we don’t hear back within 48 hours, we may hold or cancel/refund.
Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address you provided (as shown by the carrier scan). Ensure someone can receive the package and promptly refrigerate/freeze products.
See our Refunds & Returns Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms: /policies/refund-policy (or link your page). The key requirement: issues must be reported within 24 hours with photos and details.
If you select In-Store Pickup, we’ll notify you when the order is ready. Please bring ID and your order confirmation.
Don’t misuse the site (no scraping, hacking, or illegal use). We may suspend service for violations.
All site content (text, images, design) is our property or licensed to us. You may not use it without permission.
We aren’t responsible for third-party sites/services linked from our site.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order at issue.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, and applicable federal law. Venue and jurisdiction lie in Alberta courts.
